About the Job
Are you passionate about hospitality, event management, and creating unforgettable guest experiences? Maritz is seeking an enthusiastic Onsite Event Venue Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for guests in our venue. This highly visible role is responsible for greeting and assisting guests, maintaining an organized reception area, and supporting onsite event operations while ensuring the highest levels of customer service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Relations & Venue Operations (80%)

Welcome and greet guests with professionalism and authentic hospitality.

Address guest inquiries, provide directions, manage coat/luggage check, and accommodate special requests.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply inventory of the reception area.

Assist venue managers with onsite event tasks.

Protect guest privacy and follow venue standard operating procedures when handling confidential information.
Administrative & Ambassador Duties (20%)

Serve as a knowledgeable venue ambassador, conducting daily walk-throughs.

Assist with shipping, receiving, data entry, and administrative tasks.

Support event logistics as assigned.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.

2+ years of professional experience (event or meeting management industry experience preferred).

Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

Proven organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office, and ability to quickly adapt to new software.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, lifting, etc.).
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000 per year
