Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing culinary team, ensuring top-quality food production while maintaining safety, sanitation, and service standards.

  • Foster a positive and inspiring team environment that promotes morale, passion, and respect.

  • Develop innovative and trend-forward menus that align with market demands and customer preferences.

  • Continuously enhance customer and patient satisfaction through exceptional food service experiences.

  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and team development to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce.

  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to uphold food integrity and consistency.

  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory requirements.

  • Manage budgeting, inventory, ordering, production planning, payroll, and forecasting to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited culinary program.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef in fine dining, hotels, resorts, country clubs, or healthcare/senior living.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and ordering platforms.

  • Passion for culinary arts, leadership, and professional growth.

  • Willingness to relocate for career advancement opportunities.

Preferred But Not Required:

  • Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish.

  • Knowledge of OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory guidelines.

  • Familiarity with HACCP food safety protocols.
