THE ROLE
The Executive Chef will lead all culinary operations at the new Highmark Stadium, ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, and efficiency across all food service offerings. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position plays a key role in shaping the guest experience through exceptional culinary leadership and strategic execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide hands-on leadership of daily culinary operations, with a strong focus on both people and product.

Enforce all company policies and operational standards, ensuring full compliance across all kitchen teams.

Oversee culinary staff by managing schedules, performance development, and team engagement. Administer training, coaching, performance evaluations, and payroll accountability.

Lead the development of menus, including costing, sourcing, and maintaining financial performance. Analyze food and labor costs to drive menu efficiency and profitability.

Collaborate with senior leadership and finance teams to prepare and manage annual budgets, meeting all fiscal responsibilities.

Direct inventory and procurement processes to ensure all outlets remain well-stocked and cost-effective. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Ensure strict adherence to sanitation and food safety regulations in accordance with local health codes and company policies.

Drive food quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction, meeting both budgetary goals and service expectations.

Optimize resources including labor, ingredients, and time to maximize operational productivity.

Assist in labor planning and scheduling based on forecasted business needs.

Communicate and coordinate closely with the Vice President of Hospitality and other senior stakeholders.

Foster a cross-functional team environment, encouraging skill development and collaboration across culinary staff.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of proper food handling, storage, and preservation techniques.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support operational goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role includes full supervisory duties in compliance with Legends & ASM Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the Executive Chef must demonstrate energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to culinary excellence.
Education and Experience
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume or multi-unit operation

Proven success in improving food quality, operational efficiency, and cost control

Culinary degree or professional certification from an accredited culinary school or American Culinary Federation apprenticeship required
Skills and Abilities

Strong leadership, financial acumen, and team-building capabilities

Deep knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and equipment maintenance

Highly organized with attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Willingness to provide support at other locations in emergency situations
Compensation
Salary Range: $110,000 – $115,000
