Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health team, specializing in pediatric care. Medical Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Clean criminal background check

Negative TB test

Signed statement affirming a history free of professional misconduct
Preferred Experience & Core Requirements

Pediatric Nursing Experience: Prior experience in settings such as pediatric clinics, children’s hospitals, or pediatric home health is strongly preferred

Documentation Proficiency: Skilled in timely, accurate medical documentation; knowledge of pediatric coding practices is a plus

Mobility Support: Capable of lifting, positioning, and assisting children of various sizes and mobility needs within a home environment

Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate with families and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and care aides
Primary Responsibilities
Direct Client Care & Clinical Assessment

Transcribe and execute verbal medical orders from physicians and healthcare providers

Collaborate with the care team to develop and manage individualized service plans

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and regularly evaluate client status

Monitor and document responses to treatments and interventions accurately

Safely administer medications and educate families on usage, side effects, and adherence

Maintain timely and compliant documentation of all clinical activities and care plans
Supervisory & Leadership Duties

Provide clinical oversight to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and other direct care staff

Ensure accurate and regulatory-compliant client recordkeeping

Lead or participate in incident investigations, including grievances and accident follow-up

Mentor and train new staff on agency policies, care protocols, and quality standards

Hourly Rate: $48.00 – $55.00 (based on experience and skillset)
