Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health team, specializing in pediatric care. Medical Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Clean criminal background check

  • Negative TB test

  • Signed statement affirming a history free of professional misconduct


Preferred Experience & Core Requirements

  • Pediatric Nursing Experience: Prior experience in settings such as pediatric clinics, children’s hospitals, or pediatric home health is strongly preferred

  • Documentation Proficiency: Skilled in timely, accurate medical documentation; knowledge of pediatric coding practices is a plus

  • Mobility Support: Capable of lifting, positioning, and assisting children of various sizes and mobility needs within a home environment

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate with families and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and care aides


Primary Responsibilities

Direct Client Care & Clinical Assessment

  • Transcribe and execute verbal medical orders from physicians and healthcare providers

  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and manage individualized service plans

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and regularly evaluate client status

  • Monitor and document responses to treatments and interventions accurately

  • Safely administer medications and educate families on usage, side effects, and adherence

  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation of all clinical activities and care plans

Supervisory & Leadership Duties

  • Provide clinical oversight to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and other direct care staff

  • Ensure accurate and regulatory-compliant client recordkeeping

  • Lead or participate in incident investigations, including grievances and accident follow-up

  • Mentor and train new staff on agency policies, care protocols, and quality standards

Compensation & Additional Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $48.00 – $55.00 (based on experience and skillset)
