Family Medicine Physician Opportunity – Mission-Driven Care in South & East LA
Join St. John’s Community Health (SJCH), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care to underserved communities in South and East Los Angeles. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide care to patients of all ages in various clinic locations, working a 5-day week with two Saturday shifts per month. Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
 - Completion of a Family Medicine residency and board certification/eligibility.
 - Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
 - Basic computer proficiency.
 - Valid California Medical License and DEA Certificate.
 - BLS certification.
 
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical services, including physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, diagnosing conditions, and administering or prescribing treatments.
 - Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
 - Perform procedures within your scope of training.
 - Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
 - Maintain thorough and accurate patient records.
 - Participate in triage and treatment during disaster situations as needed.
 - Commit to the mission of SJCH through clinical involvement.
 - Work approximately two Saturdays per month and potentially one late shift per week.
