Founded in 1980, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is a mission-driven, non-profit organization with over 700 staff members, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care to a diverse community in the Merrimack Valley. Recognized nationally for excellence in community medicine, GLFHC offers family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics services, and sponsors the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program.

We are seeking a Family Physician to join our team. The role involves delivering comprehensive and continuous care to patients, including routine and emergency treatment. Responsibilities include diagnosing diseases, providing medical treatment, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. The physician will also engage in patient care audits, maintain medical records, and contribute to educational initiatives for residents and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct medical care to patients in various settings (health centers, hospitals, schools, shelters).

  • Participate in quality assurance and utilization review processes.

  • Maintain medical records and professional knowledge through ongoing education.

  • Serve on-call and as a backup clinician.

  • Represent the health center in external and community engagements.
