Job Summary
The Finance and Accounting Analyst performs moderate statistical, financial, and cost-accounting analyses to support university management and departmental operations. This role prepares and analyzes financial statements, reconciliations, and reports while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly reconciliations and analyze financial statements.

Create accounts payable files and perform reconciliations.
-
Assist with year-end close procedures, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.

Apply discretion to modify work practices and improve efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
-
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Eligible for the University Physicians Work from Home Program.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 2 years of relevant experience demonstrating comparable skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in account reconciliations.

Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.

Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Proactive in identifying process issues and implementing solutions.
