Job Summary

The Finance and Accounting Analyst performs moderate statistical, financial, and cost-accounting analyses to support university management and departmental operations. This role prepares and analyzes financial statements, reconciliations, and reports while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and analyze financial statements.

  • Create accounts payable files and perform reconciliations.

  • Assist with year-end close procedures, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.

  • Apply discretion to modify work practices and improve efficiency.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Eligible for the University Physicians Work from Home Program.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience demonstrating comparable skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in account reconciliations.

  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

  • Proactive in identifying process issues and implementing solutions.
