Role Purpose

CBRE / Turner & Townsend is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support our London Project Management (PJM) and Finance teams. This position plays a vital role in streamlining the invoice raising process by improving project setup, financial data accuracy, and fee recovery. You’ll be a key link between fee earners, the UK finance team, and external stakeholders, helping to drive operational excellence in billing, forecasting, and project finance management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Finance Support

  • Facilitate end-to-end project setup and maintenance within financial systems.

  • Assist in the preparation and management of fee forecasts.

  • Monitor project financials and ensure accurate revenue recognition and reconciliation.

  • Collaborate closely with fee earners to ensure all documentation and compliance checks are completed before invoice generation.

Invoice Management

  • Generate client invoices and manage disbursements/third-party recoveries.

  • Support debt due diligence processes to ensure timely and efficient fee collection.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all invoice-related queries.

Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all required information is collected prior to billing, including:

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks

  • Conflict of Interest checks

  • Client entity and VAT details

  • Purchase Order (PO) numbers

  • Supporting evidence of fee agreements for audit purposes

Reporting & Analysis

  • Support financial modelling and provide updates on project P&Ls.

  • Attend regular meetings with the wider UK Finance team.

  • Use enterprise tools to distribute updates and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience in a finance or accounting support role.

  • Actively studying or part-qualified (CIMA, AAT, ACCA).

  • Familiarity with invoice management and debt recovery best practices.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft is advantageous.

  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
