An excellent opportunity has opened within the NHS Ambulance Service for a motivated Finance Business Associate to join our Finance Team at Crawley HQ. As a Finance Business Associate, you’ll deliver specialist finance and business support to Operations Managers, clinicians, and the Finance Business Partners — helping ensure strong financial control, accurate reporting, and service improvements that enhance patient care while supporting financial sustainability.
This role provides a full-time 37.5-hour working week with the chance to work across multiple Trust sites. Early application is advised as we may close this vacancy ahead of the advertised date due to high interest.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Business Associate: Core Duties

Provide accurate, timely finance and management accounting services to senior finance managers.

Support clinicians and business managers in developing financially sustainable service improvements.

Assist Finance Business Partners in offering financial insights to senior teams and budget holders.

Ensure the Trust’s budgetary systems are maintained and that finance information services are responsive and efficient.
Skills & Attributes Needed for a Finance Business Associate

Strong background in financial management and business advisory services.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Experience working with budget holders and operational managers is highly desirable.
