Responsibilities:
Finance Manager oversees financial planning and analysis, manages risk, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves leading financial operations, managing a team, and contributing to strategic planning to support business growth and efficiency. The Finance Manager will report to the headquarters and collaborate closely with the global finance team. More specifically:
- Drive financial planning and analysis
- Oversee risk and treasury management
- Manage intercompany transactions
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Optimize financial systems and processes
- Contribute to strategic planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
Several years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably internationally
Professional certifications like CPA or CFA are beneficial
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Expertise in intercompany accounting and treasury management
Knowledge of Canadian financial regulations
Proficiency in ERP solutions and financial software
