Key Responsibilities of Finance Manager

 

The Finance Manager will ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment across North America.

  • Manage financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance for the US and Canada.
  • Lead tax filing and compliance, including federal, state, and regional submissions.
  • Support business leaders with insights and analysis to drive profitability.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to meet company objectives.
  • Deliver accurate monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
  • Manage cashflow forecasts, working capital, and treasury operations.
  • Oversee payroll reconciliations, accounts receivable, and ERP integration for efficiency.

Qualifications for Finance Manager

 

To excel as a Finance Manager, you’ll need both technical expertise and leadership ability.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a mid-level finance management role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and North American tax compliance.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to process improvement.
