Overview

The Financial Operations Analyst will join CVS Health’s financial operations team and play a key role in managing accounts receivable (AR) processes related to pharmaceutical manufacturer reimbursements for Medicare pharmacy claims. This position involves maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring timely collections, and optimizing reporting to achieve performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily AR management tasks including accurate posting, collections, and reconciliation.

  • Resolve payment discrepancies through collaboration with internal teams and external partners (manufacturers/CMS).

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve payment variances with root cause analysis.

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, SAP, and large data repositories for reconciliation and reporting.

  • Conduct manual calculations, research historical payments, and support process improvements.

  • Monitor and report account performance to leadership.

  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and revenue cycle management trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry.

  • Background in collections, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

  • Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel functions.

  • Experience driving process efficiency in complex environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

Compensation

Pay Range: $43,888 – $102,081 annually (based on experience, education, and location).
Eligible for CVS Health bonus or incentive programs.
