Financial Analyst

We are looking for a detail-driven Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in analysing financial data, driving budgeting and forecasting efforts, and delivering insights that support key business decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, trends, and forecasts to support strategic planning

• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior leadership

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities

• Identify financial risks and provide data-driven cost-saving recommendations

• Evaluate departmental and project-based financial performance

• Assist in developing pricing models and financial projections for new initiatives

• Liaise with auditors, accountants, and other financial stakeholders

• Ensure full compliance with UK financial regulations and internal control standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years’ experience in financial analysis or accounting

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)

• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)

• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail

• Comfortable with tight deadlines and multitasking

• Professional reporting and presentation skills

• Knowledge of UK compliance and regulatory standards

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required)

• Master’s degree or professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / CFA) is a plus

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary: £26,000 – £28,000 depending on qualifications and experience
