Key Responsibilities of a Financial Analyst

Conduct economic research and financial studies on ROI, investments, and depreciation.

Analyze profit & loss statements, budgets, and income reports to assess financial health.

Prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for leadership.

Monitor and control budgets, tracking variances and ensuring compliance.

Forecast financial outcomes, establish cost rates, and support workforce planning.

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

Provide technical expertise on fiscal allocations and cost analysis.

Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed across projects.
What We Look for in a Financial Analyst
To succeed as a Financial Analyst, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

5–8 years of relevant financial analysis experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Experience with government financial systems (preferred).

Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting tools.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
