Senior Financial Analyst Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll be responsible for creating financial models, including ROI assessments and scenario planning, to evaluate customer agreements and investment opportunities. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, providing actionable insights that shape key business decisions. This position also focuses on process improvement, helping Medline optimize financial systems and reporting tools to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Financial Analyst
- Develop and deliver strategic financial models such as ROI assessments and scenario analyses.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support leadership and improve decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect accurate data and provide insights.
- Drive efficiency by improving systems, processes, and reporting tools.
- Perform retrospective reviews to validate financial models and inform long-term planning.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with advanced modeling techniques.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships for effective collaboration.
- Stay informed on industry trends to ensure Medline remains competitive.
Qualifications for Senior Financial Analyst
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PowerPivot and PowerQuery.
- ERP system experience (SAP preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
