Key Responsibilities of a Financial Analyst

Lead financial discussions and identify areas for improvement or opportunity.

Analyze monthly financial reports, trends, and revenue/spending patterns.

Prepare accurate forecasts for operating divisions and cost centers.

Review financial data for discrepancies and generate detailed variance reports.

Develop ad hoc financial reports to support executive decision-making.

Prepare ROI analyses and financial models for business strategy planning.

Ensure correct project setup for invoicing and compliance with SOWs.

Assist divisions in structuring new projects and supporting payroll documentation.

Promote digital financial tools and automation to enhance reporting efficiency.
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst Role

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

2–3+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or corporate finance.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables required).

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
