Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and self-motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance Business Partnership team.
In this role, you will be the analytical engine behind initiatives that optimize revenue, streamline operations, and drive LifeStance’s mission of expanding access to high-quality mental healthcare nationwide.

You’ll work on high-impact projects — analyzing payer contracts, improving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic growth — while partnering closely with finance and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Forecasting

  • Support the annual business plan and ongoing forecast updates.

  • Improve visibility and analysis of financial results through key metrics.

  • Advise management on financial insights and recommended actions.

  • Partner with Payer Engagement and Revenue Cycle teams to assess financial impact.

Reporting

  • Standardize and document planning and reporting templates.

  • Perform detailed revenue and operational analyses to identify trends and risks.

  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track financial performance.

  • Prepare and assist with financial reports and presentations (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).

Collaboration

  • Build strong partnerships across departments.

  • Align finance processes organization-wide for improved data accuracy.

  • Diagnose and quantify complex revenue issues.

  • Present actionable insights to leadership and business partners.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of analytical experience (FP&A or similar role).

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and financial modeling.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • SQL experience preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear regularly; frequent walking.

  • May need to lift/move up to 25 lbs occasionally.

  • Must have close, distance, and color vision, plus the ability to adjust focus.
