Job Details:
Bowhead / UIC Technical Services is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to provide analytical and financial support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division (NSWC-Crane). This role involves managing project finances, maintaining databases, analyzing data trends, and developing financial reports to guide decision-making. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of experience in financial or management analysis. Candidates should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. Experience in defense-related projects or prior work with NSWC-Crane is preferred. Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; an active clearance is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project and financial management plans.

Perform data analysis and support process improvement initiatives.

Prepare and forecast budgets, reports, and financial summaries.

Coordinate meetings, manage schedules, and maintain documentation.

Support administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, procurement, and correspondence.

Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial tracking and reporting.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.

2–5 years of experience as a financial or management analyst.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Access and Excel.

Strong organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.

Capability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform basic physical tasks.
