Financial Analyst – Cogstate
Cogstate is hiring a Financial Analyst to support its Clinical Trials division, playing a key role in pricing, forecasting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will develop pricing models for client proposals, assist with change orders, analyze project financials, and prepare reports that guide strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and experience within clinical trials finance.
Key Responsibilities:

Create pricing for customer proposals and RFPs.

Support Project Managers with change order pricing and review.

Maintain and analyze project forecast trackers.

Conduct financial analysis and provide forecasting support.

Track profitability, staff utilization, and resource allocation.

Prepare monthly, ad-hoc, and performance reports.

Collaborate with Business Development and Finance teams on budgets and forecasts.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Management.

MBA, CPA, CFA, or Big 4 experience preferred.

5+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.

5+ years in Clinical Trials finance, with knowledge of SOAs and participant tracking.

Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, index match).

Excellent communication, organization, and self-management skills.
