Job Purpose:

Use Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software to perform consolidation and reporting functions in the Group Head Office and produce appropriate, useful, and timely reports to the Directors and senior management of the company.

Improve and enhance financial analysis to increase stakeholder knowledge and engagement and fulfil external statutory reporting requirements.

Ensure global training and standards of control are maintained.

Job Context:

Working with the Group Reporting Manager and Group Finance team will assist with the administration of key financial consolidation and reporting tools.

No direct reports.

Job Dimensions:

Based in Oxford – can work under hybrid working agreement.

Reports to the Group Reporting Manager as part of the Group Finance team.

Key Accountabilities:

These will include:

  • As an administrator of the Group OneStream XF consolidation and reporting software develop, maintain and continually improve the system alongside the Group Reporting Manager.
  • Maintain, develop and administer the Group CXO reporting software.
  • Financial analysis and reporting – develop financial analysis using CPM and Microsoft office products.
  • Assist in the production of key management information to the Directors and senior management of the business on a timely basis.
  • Consolidation and production of quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and annual 5 year Strategic Plans.
  • Provide support, advice and appropriate training on reporting software to Finance teams across the Group and assist in the production and maintenance of user manuals and training materials for Group reporting software.
  • Assist in the production of the Group Statutory Report & Accounts and liaise with Group Marketing and external designers for the successful completion of this document.
  • Assist in the production and maintenance of user manuals and training materials for all Group reporting software.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required or instructed in order to maintain and/or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by Group Finance.
  • Undertake business travel abroad and within the UK as and when required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, And Experience

Minimum:

  • Experience of working with database applications, especially CPM products.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Working in a deadline orientated financial organisation.
  • Ability to create and use complex financial models.

Desirable:

  • OneStream development and administration experience.
  • Experience of financial consolidation software (eg OneStream, Hyperion, Tagetik)
  • Experience of CXO or similar dashboard reporting software
  • Experience of working in a global organization.
  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent finance experience.
