About the Role

As part of the Trane Supply Finance Team, the Financial Analyst will support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across multiple functions. This role partners closely with business leaders and reports to the Finance Leader.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week onsite.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor Supply financial performance; analyze and interpret operating results

  • Investigate variances and unusual items; report results with actionable recommendations

  • Consolidate financial bridge inputs with Supply Finance team

  • Provide analysis on material-related spend (purchase price variance, inflation, productivity)

  • Design and maintain financial tools, systems, and models for problem identification/resolution

  • Support month-end processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Deliver ad hoc analysis, reporting, and support on finance projects

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • 1–3 years of finance/accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and GAAP

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and deadlines

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Experience with Oracle ERP, Tableau, or Dataiku a plus

Compensation

  • Base Pay Range: $67,200 – $88,800 (based on U.S. national averages; actual pay may vary by location, merit, and experience)
