Job Summary / Objective
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in driving OEC’s financial success by participating in budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and financial analysis. You’ll use tools like Workday Adaptive to analyze data, support decision-making, and guide management in achieving strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities

Support the month-end close process, review results, and prepare executive and board-level financial reports.

Analyze variances, identify trends, and provide insights on revenue, expenses, and KPIs.

Contribute to annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, collaborating with VPs and functional leaders.

Conduct profitability and pricing analyses for new initiatives and product lines.

Partner with business teams to translate data into actionable recommendations that improve performance.

Assist with integrating financial systems and processes of newly acquired companies.

Complete ad-hoc financial reports to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.

Equivalent experience may substitute for a formal degree.
Experience, Skills, and Key Competencies

Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis.

Proficiency with financial reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion, Workday) and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation abilities.

Strong communication skills—able to explain complex financial data to non-financial audiences.

Proven collaboration and business partnering experience across multiple teams.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with strong initiative and time management.

Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and shifting priorities.

Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid setting with limited in-person interaction.
