Job Summary:
Cubic Transportation Systems is seeking a Financial Services Analyst responsible for managing high-volume settlement transactions, reconciling financial accounts, and preparing detailed reports. The role requires strong analytical skills, accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process and reconcile large volumes of settlement transactions.

Monitor and maintain data integrity across systems like Microsoft Dynamics, banks, and payment processors.

Prepare reports on clearing and settlement activity, addressing discrepancies when identified.

Investigate chargebacks and coordinate resolutions with merchant banks and credit card issuers.

Reconcile General Ledger accounts and assist with month-end financial close.

Analyze payment fees to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Document and improve financial processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

At least 2 years of accounting or reconciliation experience.

Strong understanding of debits, credits, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and handling large datasets.

Familiarity with Electronic Funds Movement and financial systems.

Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently under minimal supervision.
Compensation:
$30.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on location, experience, and qualifications, plus comprehensive benefits.
