Job Summary
MaineHealth is seeking a Financial Systems Business Analyst to support financial software systems and serve as a critical liaison between Finance and IT teams. This role plays a key part in the implementation, support, testing, and training related to financial systems across all MaineHealth organizations. The ideal candidate has strong business analytics experience and a passion for process improvement in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and IT for financial systems and related projects

Provide support for financial software implementation, production, testing, and training

Translate business and financial requirements into system solutions

Assist leadership in evaluating financial systems performance and enhancements

Collaborate with stakeholders to define enterprise-wide system needs and improvement opportunities

Ensure business requirements are accurately captured and translated for system development and testing

Apply knowledge of Agile methodologies (if applicable) in financial systems delivery

Support data analysis and business intelligence initiatives tied to financial operations
Required Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology Management, or a related field

Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management and business analytics

Proven experience working with enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems

Prior experience in a business analytics role

Preferred: Experience in Agile delivery methods and healthcare environments
