Position Summary:
The Food Service Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing friendly, efficient service and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This role involves deli processing, stocking, and cleanliness duties in accordance with company procedures and the direction of the Food Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests immediately upon entering the department.

Follow the daily work schedule assigned by management.

Perform deli duties following company guidelines for safe food handling, convenience, and value.

Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Restock supplies, wrap products, and perform daily clean-up duties.
-
Stock shelves, unload trucks, and rotate products as needed.

Operate deli equipment, including slicers, mixers, ovens, and food processors safely.

Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
Key Requirements:

Current Food Handler certification (must maintain throughout employment).

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, controlled environment.

Able to work 8–10 hours in a cool, temperature-controlled setting.

Comfortable working in a freezer for up to 15 minutes.

Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. to a height of 4 feet and up to 80 lbs. when unloading trucks.

Willingness to accept coaching and feedback from supervisors.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and climbing.
