About the Role
Moses Lake School District is seeking a dedicated Server Helper to join the Food Services team at Moses Lake High School. This position plays a key role in supporting daily meal preparation and service, ensuring students receive healthy and nutritious meals in a safe, clean environment.

Location: Moses Lake High School

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (2 hours/day, 180 workdays/year)

Shift time subject to building needs
Qualifications
-
Valid Washington State Food Handler’s Card
-
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
-
Experience with industrial kitchen equipment
-
Strong communication skills with staff, students, parents, and the public

Bilingual preferred

Basic math skills and ability to complete written skills test

Knowledge of Washington State S.P.I. food service requirements

Ability to complete production records and maintain accurate meal counts

Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain excellent attendance
Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation, cooking, assembly, service, and clean-up

Order and receive food deliveries from the base kitchen and central warehouse

Supervise and instruct student workers during meal periods

Follow proper sanitation, safety, and temperature control standards

Maintain a safe work environment and report issues promptly

Ensure compliance with district food service policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Services Director
