Position Overview:

Hill Electric, Inc. is looking for a highly skilled and experienced commercial and multi-family Foreman to lead and oversee complex electrical projects. This role requires advanced technical expertise, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to team development. The Level 3 Foreman will mentor team members, manage project workflows, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget. Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyman or Residential Master License, Required
  • 2-4 Years of Foreman Experience
  • OSHA 10 Certification, Required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Strong understanding of electrical concepts, tools, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently, managing time, tasks, and materials effectively.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in blueprint navigation and construction protocols.
  • Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
  • Strong willingness to learn and expand knowledge in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance and Leadership

  • Lead by example with a strong work ethic, ensuring tasks are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Project and Workforce Management

  • Develop detailed project schedules aligned with timelines and budgets, ensuring all team members understand their roles and tasks.
  • Monitor progress, address challenges proactively, and provide solutions to minimize delays.
  • Allocate team members effectively, leveraging their strengths while fostering growth in weaker areas.

Material and Tool Management

  • Anticipate and request materials, tools, and equipment in advance to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools and materials at job sites, storage units, and vehicles.
  • Ensure proper use, tracking, and maintenance of tools and report any issues immediately.

Technical Expertise and Compliance

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and submittals, ensuring project specifications are met.
  • Conduct quality control checks to identify and correct errors.
  • Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards, address hazards, and conduct regular safety briefings.

Mentorship and Training

  • Provide hands-on training for advanced electrical techniques and blueprint navigation.
  • Mentor team members to prepare them for leadership roles, contributing to their professional development.
  • Serve as an instructor or mentor in the company’s apprenticeship program to build the next generation of electricians.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with General Contractors, field coordinators, and other trades to align schedules and resolve conflicts.
  • Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including providing weekly progress updates.
  • Establish positive relationships with material suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $33.00 per hour
