What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator
- Flexibility to work varying shifts based on freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a dock or warehouse within the transportation industry
- Forklift experience in a freight or less-than-truckload (LTL) environment
- Familiarity with loading and unloading trailers
- Strong attention to detail and a drive to succeed
Position Details – Forklift Operator
Compensation, Benefits & Perks:
- Starting Pay: $23.85/hour
- Night Shift Premium: Additional $1.80/hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (FAC Shift)

Primary Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload both palletized and non-palletized freight
- Operate motorized and manual equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Properly secure freight inside trailers using necessary tools and materials
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and policies
- Utilize mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments
- Work for extended periods on a dock that is not climate-controlled
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift freight and objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs., occasionally exceeding 70 lbs.)
- Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods on a potentially slippery, non-climate-controlled dock
- Requires the ability to reach overhead, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed
