Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, clamp, cherry picker, and reach equipment to stack and store merchandise in designated areas, spending 50% of service time on these tasks.
- Safely unload inbound shipments and transport products to storage locations.
- Pick and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
- Load and ship products while maintaining strict adherence to customer service standards.
- Efficiently perform picking duties to meet operational requirements.
- Move products from staging or storage areas into trailers.
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, following established work methods.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure inventory control and security.
- Assist with physical inventories and conduct cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure proper stock rotation to maintain product quality.
- Utilize Excel and general computer applications for inventory tracking.
- Follow basic safety protocols when operating equipment.
- Promptly report safety concerns to management.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies to the inventory control team and assist in resolution.
- Complete equipment inspection forms before operation.
- Use RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of forklift experience or warehouse distribution equipment usage.
- Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours.
- Must be able to lift and pull up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
- Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching above the head and below the waist.
- Capability to walk extensively within the distribution center, which spans over a quarter mile.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature fluctuations, with unrestricted access to all areas of the facility.
- Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and basic math proficiency.
