About the Role
Next Play Jobs is partnering with a leading defense litigation law firm to hire a Social Media Manager specializing in LinkedIn. This is a contract/fractional role designed for a senior-level professional who can strategize, manage, and grow LinkedIn presence to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
You will own the LinkedIn strategy, content creation, community engagement, and analytics, positioning the firm as a trusted thought leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 LinkedIn Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement a LinkedIn-focused social media strategy aligned with business goals.

Manage the firm’s LinkedIn Page and key executives’ profiles.

Identify opportunities for brand visibility, thought leadership, and industry conversations.
🔹 Content Creation & Management

Write, edit, and schedule high-quality posts, articles, and videos tailored for LinkedIn audiences.

Collaborate with design, sales, and product teams to produce engaging visuals and multimedia content.

Maintain a consistent, professional brand voice and tone.
🔹 Community Building & Engagement

Monitor and respond to LinkedIn comments, messages, and mentions.

Engage with legal industry groups, influencers, and partner content to expand reach.

Build relationships with followers, decision-makers, and thought leaders.
🔹 Analytics & Optimization

Track KPIs such as engagement rate, follower growth, click-throughs, and conversions.

Conduct A/B testing on content types, posting times, and messaging.

Deliver monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
🔹 Paid Campaigns

Collaborate with the paid media team to design and optimize LinkedIn Ads (Sponsored Content, InMail, retargeting).
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

10+ years of social media management experience with a strong focus on LinkedIn strategy and growth.

Proven success in scaling professional LinkedIn pages and executive profiles.

Strong copywriting and storytelling skills tailored for professional audiences.

Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and analytics tools.

B2B marketing experience is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a plus.
