We’re now looking for a Fresh Food Manager to lead and inspire our Market Street departments, where we offer freshly prepared food in-store—from butchers and bakers to fishmongers and greengrocers. This is your opportunity to be part of something truly unique in UK retail.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Champion exceptional customer service by leading with passion and purpose

  • Drive product availability, freshness, and compliance across Market Street departments

  • Respond to customer feedback, using insights to improve experience and standards

  • Manage daily operations including scheduling, performance, and absence

  • Recruit, develop, and train colleagues, supporting their long-term career growth

  • Ensure colleagues are confident working across departments and aligned with company goals

  • Collaborate with other store managers to achieve a high-performing and supportive store environment

  • Take ownership of your department’s performance, resources, and service levels

  • Build strong internal relationships and lead by example as a role model on the shop floor

About You

We’re looking for a confident and people-focused leader with the drive to lead a fresh food retail team.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment (retail, hospitality, service, or similar)

  • Passion for fresh food and delivering outstanding service

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to challenge the status quo

  • A strong team player who leads by example and develops others

  • Comfortable managing operations, people routines, and performance
