About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, answer guest inquiries, and ensure a positive and memorable stay experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to guests and team members.

  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Maintain awareness of hotel occupancy and special events.

  • Handle incoming phone calls with courtesy and professionalism.

  • Assist guests with coat check, luggage storage, and other requests.

  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately while following cash-handling policies.

  • Ensure guest and employee safety by maintaining clean and secure areas.

  • Handle difficult guest situations with professionalism and problem-solving skills.

  • Conduct night audit duties, including balancing accounts, posting room/tax charges, and preparing daily reports (night audit shifts only).

  • Build positive guest relationships, creating a welcoming and friendly environment.

  • Complete required company training on schedule.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve guest concerns effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations, reservations, and cash handling preferred.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Flexible to work various shifts, including nights (for audit role).
