Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Front End Developer at Nottingham Building Society: –
- Lead the development of modern, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications using TypeScript and React, driving innovation and excellence in user interface design.
- Collaborate closely with designers to translate wireframes and mock-ups into pixel-perfect user interfaces, ensuring consistency and coherence across our digital ecosystem.
- Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility, enabling a seamless user experience across devices and platforms.
- Forge strong partnerships with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs, fostering a cohesive and robust technical architecture.
- Champion clean, modular, and testable code practices, maintaining the reliability and performance of our applications through rigorous coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies and best practices, leveraging new tools and techniques to drive innovation and enhance development processes.
About you: –
- Proficiency in TypeScript and a strong command of JavaScript, demonstrating a deep understanding of language fundamentals and best practices.
- Extensive hands-on experience with React and its ecosystem, including state management libraries like Redux or MobX and Context API, showcasing a mastery of frontend development principles.
- Solid understanding of web markup, encompassing HTML5 and CSS3, along with expertise in CSS pre-processing with SaSS.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts, enabling seamless integration of frontend components with backend services.
- Knowledge of modern web development trends and best practices, with a keen eye for emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of polished, high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, facilitating effective interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
