About the Role

Ascension is seeking a Front End Developer with strong Sitecore expertise to join our AP Digital Platform Support team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement robust digital solutions that deliver personalized, scalable, and secure user experiences. This position is remote, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Salary Range: $91,104 – $126,996 per year


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement web applications using Sitecore XM Cloud CMS, including custom templates, layouts, and components.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and other developers to translate requirements into user-centric digital solutions.

  • Integrate Sitecore XM with enterprise systems and third-party APIs.

  • Implement responsive UI/UX designs and ensure technical feasibility.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Sitecore issues related to performance and functionality.

  • Follow Helix principles and Sitecore best practices to create scalable, reusable components.

  • Participate in the full SDLC, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Provide technical support, documentation, and user training.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to process improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of Sitecore development experience.

  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular/jQuery).

  • Experience with Sitecore features (personalization, xDB, xConnect) and SXA.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Sitecore Developer Certification highly preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.

  • Healthcare industry experience a plus.
