Progressive is seeking a Senior Digital Front-End Developer to join our Acquisition Experience team. In this remote role, you’ll craft innovative digital experiences and enhance our e-commerce platform, using integrated SaaS solutions and personalization testing platforms. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, analysts, and copywriters to deliver optimized customer experiences across multiple tech stacks. Occasional travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Mayfield Village, OH (3–4 times per year) is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and maintain content delivery and experience optimization solutions.

  • Implement personalization and testing plans to enhance user engagement and conversion.

  • Collaborate with UX designers, developers, copywriters, and analysts on cross-functional projects.

  • Work across various tech stacks, including headless CMS platforms and modern frameworks like Vue.js and Nuxt.

  • Apply web testing, UX, and conversion rate optimization practices using tools such as Playwright and Cypress.

  • Utilize image editing, rapid prototyping, and process mapping tools (e.g., Figma, Visio, Adobe XD, Photoshop).

  • Ensure clean coding practices, accessibility, and responsive design principles are consistently applied.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of front-end development or related experience

  • OR Associate’s degree + 5 years of experience

  • OR Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.

  • Hands-on experience with content management systems, particularly headless CMS.

  • Familiarity with ASP .NET MVC and modern JAMstack frameworks.

  • Knowledge of UX testing, personalization platforms, and automated testing tools.

  • Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other prototyping/design tools.

Compensation & Incentives:

  • Base Salary: $87,200 – $116,300/year

  • Gainshare cash incentive: up to 30% of eligible earnings based on company performance
