Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Front-End Developer Intern to assist in building modern web applications. The ideal candidate is a junior or senior pursuing a Computer Science degree (or related field) with strong communication skills, a foundation in front-end development, and basic understanding of back-end concepts. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the front-end team to develop ReactJS applications using modern hooks.

  • Assist in architecting and implementing technical solutions for complex problems.

  • Support business and IT teams to ensure digital applications meet operational needs.

  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and application releases.

  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Develop end-user training documentation and support materials.

  • Monitor and respond to application support tickets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Junior or senior student at an accredited four-year college/university (preferred).

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS (including hooks).

  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and cross-browser/platform development.

  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and prototyping.

  • Flexible availability within core business hours (8AM–5PM CST).

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Next.js and Tailwind CSS.

  • Experience with WordPress or headless CMS platforms.

  • Ability to write unit and end-to-end tests.

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (preferably Azure).

  • Understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies.


Physical & Work Requirements:

  • Ability to work remotely or on-site as needed.

  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking.

  • Occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.

  • Punctual attendance during scheduled work hours.
