About the Role
Robert Half, in partnership with our agency client in Troy, Michigan, is seeking a Front-End Email Developer for a long-term freelance contract. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented developer with a strong foundation in HTML email coding, design, and campaign execution. You’ll work on responsive, visually compelling email campaigns, ensuring flawless performance across devices and platforms.
This is a flexible, ad-hoc freelance opportunity with the potential for ongoing collaboration. Candidates based in Troy, MI, with occasional on-site availability, are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive HTML emails that are functional across devices and email clients.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Optimize email design elements using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Conduct thorough QA testing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality delivery.
- Support additional projects such as QA testing and course-building systems when needed.
- Maintain adaptability to shifting priorities while ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively to align on requirements and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in email design and development.
- Expert-level skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (specific to email development).
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms and design tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Keen eye for design principles, detail orientation, and precision in execution.
- Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions.
- Availability during standard business hours, with flexibility for workload fluctuations.
- Preferably based in Troy, Michigan, with occasional on-site availability.
