Your new role

There is a real focus here on the human element of digital and curating unique experiences for the end user. The business is trusted to manage complete campaigns for some of the biggest global manufacturers of products and have had their best years emerging positively from Covid.

Speaking to the Digital Director they are shifting their way of working from an agency to a product service business. Part of your role will be the ongoing development of their first core product and taking this to market.

One of the key attractions to working here is the variety of work available. It’s a small team alongside 2 other Devs which allows great influence and responsibility. They’ve built machine learning algorithms, animated SASS projects and end to end builds for international brands. Here it’s not a cookie cutter approach with technologies to churn out sites, instead they select the right tools that compliment the job best.

You’ll relish time in the office as it’s completely bespoke premises in a unique setting, and they’ve retained an excellent family feel to the company. This is a genuine opportunity to progress your career.

The role is Front End leaning and that is the core experience we need, you must have 4+ years commercial experience building applications with TypeScript/React and the surrounding ecosystem. You’ll also have worked with Babel, Vite and NPM.

It’s a LAMP stack environment so the Back End is PHP based using Laravel Framework. The perfect candidate will have both PHP and Laravel, but they are comfortable speaking to people moving across from a different back end tech such as Node.js or Python.

We’d ideally like someone confident working with API’s and in an Azure cloud environment.

In this role you’ll be expected to use initiative to complete elements of the roadmap so there’s creative license here, you’ll also speak directly to Marketeers about projects and solve problems on the go so it’s very real-time/dynamic. Those used to working with a tight structured approach in a larger corporate may not suit.
