Job Summary
MidKent College is seeking a friendly, professional, and efficient individual to join as Front of House Support at the newly launched Medway School of Arts. The role involves delivering outstanding customer service at reception, assisting with student queries, handling UCAS processes, and managing financial transactions in line with College policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and applicants

Provide curriculum information and guidance for the School of Arts

Assist students with UCAS and Student Finance applications

Maintain the UCAS provider account and ensure course listings meet CMA guidelines

Liaise with the Admissions team to migrate applications to College systems

Receive, process, and reconcile cash/card/cheque payments for college-related fees

Support student financial fund applications, bursary guidance, and award communications

Record and manage financial transactions in compliance with audit requirements

Maintain health & safety records on campus

Represent the department at open events and outreach activities

Train as a Fire Marshal and First Aider
Candidate Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Prior experience in education, administration, or customer service preferred

Familiarity with UCAS, student financial support, and front desk operations

Comfortable using digital systems for record-keeping and communication

Able to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail
