Senior Frontend / Full Stack Engineer | Onsite – New York

Berkley Hunt has partnered with an innovative, mission-driven company revolutionizing American manufacturing. They are developing state-of-the-art tools that modernize production by automating work instruction creation and bridging the gap between engineering and manufacturing. Their platform enhances efficiency and precision in industries requiring high standards.
We are looking for a Senior Frontend / Full Stack Engineer to play a pivotal role in building, scaling, and securing their infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Requirements:

5+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on frontend engineering.

Expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, and TailwindCSS.

Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, component-based development, and best practices.

Experience designing complex frontend systems from scratch with reusable components.

Familiarity with Three.js or other 3D visualization frameworks.

Solid grasp of UI/UX principles, with the ability to create clean and intuitive interfaces.

Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
Full Stack / Backend (Nice to Have):

Experience with backend technologies such as Python or Node.js.

Proficiency in API design (REST, gRPC).

Familiarity with database design and querying (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).

Knowledge of background task processing frameworks like Celery.
Bonus Skills:

Background in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial software.

Experience with Figma or similar UI/UX collaboration tools.

Familiarity with Next.js or other SSR/SSG frameworks.

Knowledge of WebAssembly (WASM) or Rust for frontend performance optimization.
