Key Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee objectives for assigned projects and programs, ensuring foundational planning—such as outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning—is completed for successful execution.

  • Ensure completion of all assigned projects and programs in alignment with product/process specifications, cost parameters, resource allocations, and timelines.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of all project and program phases. Share critical data across functional teams while adhering to company policies around engineering records, confidentiality, patents, and safety protocols.

  • Monitor and ensure efficient use of material and financial resources.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to drive project success.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and navigating tight workspaces.

  • May require work in cleanroom environments with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, coveralls, and respirators.


Core Competencies & Skills

Functional Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of SAP Finance (ECC, MDG, COPA, BPC) and core finance processes.

  • Knowledge of finance master data management, reporting hierarchies, and systems integration.

  • Conceptual and applied expertise in data governance and process optimization.

  • Understanding of cross-functional collaboration within a financial systems environment and awareness of industry best practices and competitive landscape.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Acts as a mentor for junior analysts and provides cross-functional leadership.

  • Leads smaller-scale initiatives with moderate risk and resource requirements.

Problem Solving:

  • Applies advanced analytical thinking to identify and solve complex problems using insights from multiple data sources.

  • Takes an innovative approach to improve existing processes and procedures.

Communication:

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain complex data and governance concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Builds consensus and promotes understanding across functions.


Role-Specific Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery using Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

  • Partner with FP&A, Segment Finance, and GIS teams to align financial master data structures and reporting systems.

  • Serve as a data steward overseeing governance of all Finance Master Data and related systems.

  • Drive data cleansing, standardization, and harmonization efforts, especially in preparation for ERP migrations.

  • Participate in the Data Governance Council and support long-term data management strategy development.

  • Collaborate with analytics teams to build dashboards that automate and improve data governance workflows.

  • Create and deliver training programs for finance and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Process global master data requests and support integration during reorganizations and M&A activities.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, data governance, or related areas.

  • Proficient in SAP Finance modules and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, reconciliation templates).

  • Strong communication, prioritization, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate across departments.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Experience with large-scale ERP implementations and data migration activities.
