We are looking for an experienced and self-sufficient Medical Front Office Coordinator to manage patient intake, insurance verifications, and general administrative support for our clinic. Key Responsibilities

Perform patient check-in and ensure accurate, efficient intake processes.

Verify insurance coverage independently and in a timely manner (required skill).

Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.

Schedule patient appointments according to clinic guidelines.

Collect co-pays and deductible amounts at check-in.

Obtain referrals and ensure proper documentation is scanned into EMR.

Prepare charts with all necessary information for patient appointments.

Handle patient check-out, collect balances, and schedule follow-up visits.

File, retrieve, and maintain electronic and physical patient records.

Conduct patient billing reviews and daily charge audits.

May be cross-trained as a back office float for clinic support.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Minimum 1 year of front office experience in a clinical setting (Required)

At least 1–2 years of experience in insurance verification (Required/Preferred)

Ability to complete insurance verifications self-sufficiently and on time is mandatory.

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Experience with EMR systems and front-desk operations in healthcare.

Completion of relevant skills assessments is highly encouraged for priority consideration.
