Overview:

TIC Health is seeking a warm, professional, and IT-savvy General Bookings Administrator to join our dynamic call centre team in Yate. You’ll play a critical role in supporting the patient journey—from answering incoming calls and booking clinical appointments to offering compassionate communication and accurate scheduling.

This is a fast-paced, patient-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

 Telephone Booking & Triage

  • Promptly and professionally handle inbound calls

  • Book appointments for a variety of services including:

    • MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray

    • ECGs, ETTs, Blood tests, GP consultations

    • NHS Lung Health Check programme

  • Respond to patient questions and confirm essential details

 Branch Coordination

  • Direct calls to appropriate TIC Health or Imaging branches

  • Help patients select and book into their preferred location, based on availability

 Inbox & Software Management

  • Monitor and respond to emails in shared booking inbox

  • Use clinical and admin software to maintain accurate records and logs

 Customer Service Excellence

  • Maintain a supportive and calm tone in all interactions

  • Handle cancellations, reschedules, and delays with care and sensitivity

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication and a friendly telephone manner

  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure

  • IT-literate and confident with Microsoft Office

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and reliable

  • Collaborative team player with independent work skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Prior call centre or healthcare bookings experience

  • Familiarity with NHS/private healthcare systems

  • Knowledge of RIS/PACS or appointment booking tools

  • Previous patient-facing customer service experience
