We are seeking a skilled General Foreman to oversee civil engineering projects in Perthshire, focusing on water infrastructure. This freelance role offers a 3–6 month contract with potential for extension. As a General Foreman, you’ll ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout.
Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight: Manage daily operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Team Management: Lead site teams, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain high morale.

Resource Coordination: Order and manage plant and materials to align with project schedules.

Problem Solving: Identify on-site challenges and implement proactive solutions.

Safety Compliance: Conduct toolbox talks, enforce health and safety protocols, and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: Proven track record in civil engineering projects, particularly within the water sector.

Certifications: Valid SSSTS, DOMS, and First Aid certifications.

Licensing: Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.

Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
