Responsibilities

Manage the purchasing, pricing, and marketing of a portfolio of general line or Engineered Wood Products (EWP) for both warehouse and customer-facing sales.

Develop and implement sales strategies, introduce new products, coordinate promotional efforts, and deliver sales presentations focused on assigned product lines.

Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels, turnover rates, and profit margins to optimize branch profitability.

Actively solicit both direct and warehouse sales across all general line products.

Collaborate with the location or sales manager to promote existing and newly launched products.

Maintain full responsibility for inventory replenishment, pricing adjustments, and catalog price page updates within the assigned product categories.

Create and execute an annual marketing plan that incorporates vendor support, divisional initiatives, and promotional activities.

Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of assigned products and assess market potential.

Analyze and monitor competitive products, market trends, new opportunities, and competitors’ activities.

Coordinate with division-level merchandising teams to select and manage supplier relationships.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, provide quotes, and recommend additional products to drive sales growth.

Support warehouse operations for assigned products, collaborating with the operations manager as needed.

Represent the company at dealer meetings, sales events, trade shows, and builder expos.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety, product quality, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Work is primarily performed in an office setting with minimal physical demands.
