Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Clerk to join our administrative team in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a passion for healthcare administration and a solid understanding of clinical and public health settings.

The Senior Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining patient records, supporting clinical research, and ensuring clear communication among healthcare professionals. Your work will directly impact the quality of care delivered across a variety of healthcare services, including ICU, hospice, senior care, and home care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately maintain and organise confidential patient records, ensuring full compliance with data protection regulations

  • Support clinical research activities through data entry, documentation, and report generation

  • Assist in medication documentation processes, ensuring accurate recording of prescriptions and related information

  • Coordinate appointments and manage patient flow during medical imaging procedures

  • Liaise with professionals in ICU, hospice, and senior care units to ensure clear communication and care continuity

  • Engage with home care providers and nursing homes to support effective transitions in patient care

  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, document control, answering patient/staff queries, and supporting daily operational workflows

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or public health setting (highly preferred)

  • Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy for efficient communication across departments

  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols is an advantage

  • Experience working in ICU, hospice, senior care, or similar clinical settings

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and a professional, patient-focused approach

  • Confidence in working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Work Location
