To thrive as a Geomorphology Technical Specialist – 30756, you’ll need:

A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical or environmental science field

Strong understanding of geomorphology and catchment-scale natural processes

Proven communication skills, especially when working with non-specialists

Experience in projects integrating environmental engineering with natural processes

Familiarity with hydromorphology, environmental permitting, and EU regulations

About the Environment Agency and Your Future Team
The Wessex Area team includes dedicated ecologists, fisheries experts, and geomorphologists across our Blandford and Bridgwater offices. You’ll collaborate locally while connecting nationally with geomorphologists across the Environment Agency. Training, protective gear, and flexibility—including home working—are provided.
