About the Role

Rubrik is seeking a results-driven and strategic Global Alliances Manager (GAM) to drive revenue and expand market influence through strategic alliance partnerships. In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—sales, marketing, engineering, operations—to accelerate partner-sourced pipeline, execute joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and increase partner-initiated deals across verticals.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow strategic alliance partnerships to drive revenue and business alignment

  • Execute joint partner planning, enablement, and sales acceleration programs

  • Conduct account mapping, sales training, and partner enablement sessions

  • Lead partner engagement to identify and close Partner-Initiated Deals (PIDs) and proof-of-concepts (POCs)

  • Act as a key contact for alliance partners, building executive-level relationships

  • Run quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and report on performance metrics

  • Organize and host events with/for partners and customers

  • Drive pipeline generation (PG) through co-marketing and field alignment

  • Work closely with Rubrik Field Sales, Channel Sales, and Partner Engineering teams

  • Support partner-led GTM strategy, planning, and execution

Who You Are

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and highly organized with a passion for partnerships

  • Proven track record managing alliance relationships and driving co-sell success

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (comfortable leading partner events)

  • Familiar with cloud data management, data protection, and storage solutions

  • Experience identifying and closing deals in sync with internal sales teams

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and reporting at the C-suite level

Ideal Background

  • 5+ years of experience in alliances, channel, or strategic partnerships

  • Experience with vendors like Pure Storage, Cisco, and others

  • Familiar with joint GTM strategies and sales alignment frameworks

  • Skilled in partner marketing and pipeline acceleration tactics

  • Strong command of CRM and alliance management tools

  • Financial/technical acumen in Backup, Recovery, and Data Security

  • Experience working in competitive sales environments or selling against top industry vendors

  • Multilingual (e.g., Spanish or Italian) is a plus
