Job Description
The Global Merchandise Planning (GMP) team plays a vital role in ASOS’s commercial operations, collaborating closely with buying and merchandising teams to drive assortment strategies and set purchase targets across various business divisions, helping achieve ASOS’s stock objectives.
As a Global Merchandising Assistant Planner, you’ll report to a Merchandise Planner.
Role Objectives
- Work closely with buying teams to understand their product strategy and set intake plans by fulfillment center (FC) accordingly. Analyze by category/brand to ensure stock aligns with customer demand, adapting to trends and refining plans.
- Ensure intake plans align with targets for the buying division at the FC level.
- Assist product group planners in managing product forecasts, maintaining and forecasting WSSIs.
- Support FC planners with analysis to optimize trade in key markets.
Qualifications
We’d love to meet someone who has:
- Previous experience in planning, merchandising, or supply chain, ideally within eCommerce fashion retail.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Proficiency in SQL/PowerBI is ideal but not essential.
