About the Role

FiscalNote is seeking an experienced Global People Partner to join our dynamic People Team. In this strategic role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership and team members across the organization to lead and implement high-impact talent initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving business-aligned people strategies, fostering a high-performance culture, and delivering global HR programs that support growth and transformation.

This position is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about aligning talent development with business outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience across the HR spectrum—including employee relations, talent development, program management, and organizational effectiveness—and will be comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic counsel on organizational structure, workforce planning, performance, and talent strategies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Operations to implement scalable, efficient HR solutions.

  • Lead and facilitate training and development programs aligned with business goals.

  • Support annual workforce planning and budgeting by aligning talent needs with organizational growth.

  • Leverage organizational data to provide actionable insights, including engagement survey results, performance metrics, and workforce trends.

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle—hiring, promotions, compensation, engagement, and offboarding—ensuring consistent processes and system compliance.

  • Support managers and employees in utilizing People tools, systems, and resources effectively.

  • Drive consistent, scalable HR solutions in collaboration with fellow People Partners and Operations.

  • Lead efforts in diagnosing organizational needs, supporting change initiatives, and influencing leaders to adopt people-first strategies.

  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, partnering with legal and compliance where necessary.

  • Guide leaders through performance management processes, feedback interpretation, and team development planning.

  • Ensure global HR practices remain compliant with international employment laws and company policies.


About You

You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a proven track record of delivering impactful people programs across global and high-growth environments. You’re adept at using data to influence decisions, coaching leaders, and enhancing employee experiences through thoughtful and consistent talent practices.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and business partnering

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • Comprehensive understanding of HR disciplines, including performance management, L&D, DEI, and compensation

  • Experience working in global and high-growth environments

  • Strong communication and consultative skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work collaboratively across teams

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic insights

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (experience with BambooHR preferred)


Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent HR certification

  • Experience with legal aspects of international employee relations

  • Proven ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution

  • Familiarity with global employment law and compliance requirements
